How we are run

The TMO took over housing services from Southwark Council in October 2014 after residents voted in favour of a locally run service. Right from the start, the TMO was committed to delivering high quality, value for money services that meet the needs of our local community.

A TMO is all about giving residents control over their housing service and working to improve life for everyone who lives here. Alongside delivering quality, value for money housing services we also provide additional non-housing activities that benefit members of our community. These include regular events and activities that bring neighbours together ranging from coach trips to a family fun day and a summer playscheme for kids.

The TMO is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) and all tenants, leaseholders and private tenants aged 16 and over can become a member for £1. Members are encouraged to actively get involved in the decision-making process of the TMO.

The TMO has an AGM each year (usually September) during which directors of the organisation are elected for another term.
