We are looking for a dynamic manager, capable of working on their own initiative, to develop our well-maintained 418 property estate in Southwark.
Reporting to the management board the job will include:
Supporting the board in developing and maintaining its role as a community leader and building on its partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies
The strategic and operational management of a customer driven housing management service, including tenancy services, repairs, customer services, cleaning, grounds maintenance and other estate services
To help develop a community vision for the residents of the Gloucester Grove estate and to drive the involvement of those residents to achieve that vision
To foster involvement from all members of the community including tenants and leaseholders
The person needs:
- At least 3 years experience of managing social housing services such as repairs, tenancy and leasehold management, income management and debt recovery, empty homes, resident involvement and customer services.
- Experience of working for a Tenant Management Organisation, or other organisation with a volunteer management committee
- To be flexible and able to multitask
